From the charming name and gorgeous photos and menu online, I was looking forward to a night out at the Blue Water Grille. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. Food: 2/5 The crab bisque had a nice presentation, but the broth was much thicker than I would have liked for a soup. The entree was three medium-sized scallops served over an excessive bed of under-seasoned and overcooked white rice risotto. The price for such a simple and uninspired dish was outrageous. The crème brûlée was slightly smaller than expected, and to make up for that, it was confusingly placed on a large, long plate with a purely aesthetic zig-zag of caramel sauce. It wasn't the best brûlée I had tried. Wanting a larger dessert, I also ordered some sort of three layered chocolate dish. I wasn't really impressed by how intensely sweet one of the layers was and that it tasted simply like they crushed Ferrero Rochers. For the price, I was expecting something cooked from scratch. Value: 1/5 The price they charged for what I was served was absolutely bonkers. I actually felt insulted. I haven't felt this way for any other restaurant in recent memory. Maybe I picked all the wrong dishes, and maybe it wa

Firstly, I’d like to shout out our waitress Freya for her top tier service. She was a kind and friendly soul and made our experience truly enjoyable. The restaurant itself set the perfect ambience for a date night. The food was delightful. We enjoyed our cocktails while nibbling on some bread and butter, and our appetizers/small plates were to die for. I unfortunately wasn’t a fan of the filet mignon as the flavor didn’t suit my tastes. However, the halibut entree and everything else was tasty. Overall, we had a great experience, but I will say I don’t think it was worth over the $200 we paid as portions were small.

1st time customer and will be returning! My wife and I started with the escargot($16) and loved it. I ordered 2 small plates with BBQ duck($16) and short rib($17). Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the large plate with tuna($45/MKT). We sat next to a fish tank. Kind of neat watching the unique fish swim around right next to us. Our waitress was wonderful, and checked on us a reasonable amount without being overbearing. We also ordered desserts to go choosing the Caramel banana cheesecake. Very good and interesting take on it as it was served like an egg roll cut in half diagonally. It had tasty candied pecans on top as well. We will absolutely return and try other things on the menu. Overall a very nice 3 course dinner for 2 was $150 and was worth the price. That also included two cocktails that were $16 each.

Great discovery! We have to come back. Outstanding service. The crab and artichoke appetizer was delicious. The bouillabaisse was perfect. Great wine options.
